The mentoring program usually lasts 3-12 months and consists of regular meetings where the mentor and the mentee discuss cases from their experiences in order to help the mentee learn and develop professionally.
The mentee might come with concrete problems, challenges and dilemmas, and together with the mentor, they will iterate through possible solutions, while the mentor might share their experience, make suggestions and give advices, as well as use a coaching approach.
Or it can be more oriented to a long-term self-development program for the mentee, and those regular meetings help the mentee to validate their chosen direction and methods they use along their professional journey.
